Shockwaves P51 Mustang

Greetings once again fellow flight simmers!!!!

This time around I had the chance to test out another very recognizable classic aircraft of military aviation for FSX!!!

Though I have not had the pleasure of having the opportunity to fly this plane in the real world, I have been around P-51's for many years. Compliments of the CAF (Confederate Air Force… now called the Commemorative Air Force), and have had the extraordinary opportunity to wrangle a ride in the P-51 Big Beautiful Doll.

I must say that the Wings of Power folks again did

SkySims-Sea Vixen

When I first heard of the SkySim Vixen, I had been told that some of the aircraft designed by SkySim run just as well as default on the sim. Naturally, my low specs made me intrigued by this. So, I got the planeand installed it. The installer puts two groups in your aircraft folder, and a small cluster in your start menu with the uninstall.

DHC-6 Twin Otter Mission Pack

This is an additional review I previously did for the AeroSoft DHC-6 Twin Otter.
This particular review is on the mission pack offered by AeroSoft. So it will be a rather short review and not to the extent of the aircraft review.

Greetings once again fellow flight simmers!!!!

It has been a long absence for me, but I must say, I am very happy to be back flying again.

This time around have the opportunity to test out another very nice and rather popular durable aircraft for FSX...

This is a VERY nicely done little aircraft by AeroSoft for FSX called the the DHC-6 Twin Otter!!

Shockwave has released an excellent vintage German fighter. As usual they have put a lot of work in to this model giving it accurate flight characteristics and great looks. If you like vintage fighters, you’ll want to add this bird to your collection.

Seahawk and Jayhawk Review

Aerosoft has created an outstanding add-on for FSX. The Seahawk and Jayhawk X package is unlike anything I have ever experienced before. The detail and realism are mind blowing. I highly recommend this helicopter and scenery package to all who have a system that can support its resource needs. Aerosoft claims it’s a high end add-on made for high end systems. They weren’t kidding around with that statement.

Shockwave Productions has put out a very nice B-17G for FSX. It’s a great addition to anybody’s flight-sim hangar especially if you’re a vintage warbird fan. I had the opportunity to fly and review this magnificent heavy bomber, and it was a rewarding experience.

AeroSoft - Piper PA-31T Cheyenne

What a beautifully designed twin turbo prop aircraft for FSX. Digital Aviation and Aerosoft did an outstanding job with this bird giving it an abundance of realism and great looks. I had the great opportunity of putting it to the test and came away with nothing but smiles. I would highly recommend this aircraft to any flight simmer that has a desire to fly an aircraft that will give them the ultimate experience of simulated flight.

Greetings once again fellow flight simmers!!!!

This time around I had the chance to test out a very recognizable classic aircraft of military aviation for FSX!!!

I have had the EXTREME pleasure of having the opportunity to fly this plane in the real world, and managed to accrue a little over 224 hours in the P-40. Compliments of the CAF (Confederate Air Force… now called the Commemorative Air Force), I also had the wonderful opportunity through this organization to help restore a P-40. So one could say I know this aircraft pretty well ins

Greetings once again fellow flight simmers!!!!

I am very happy to have the opportunity to test out a very versital General Aviation aircraft for FSX!!!

This Aircraft is, I have to say is the absolute best General Aviation aircraft I have yet had the pleasure to test for MSFS IX or X. This is the Dornier DO-27 by Aerosoft!!!

First off if you get this aircraft… and I HIGHLY recommend it… READ THE MANUALS!!!! This product is delivered with a VERY, VERY good manual package.
It rivals those that Level D sims, PMDG, and Capt. Sim package wi

Heinkel He 219A Uhu-Owl

This unique night fighter made its first flight as early as November 6. 1942, and entered service in 1943. However very few ever saw service due to a huge political battle between Josef Kammhuber (General of the Night Fighters), Ernst Heinkel (the constructor) and Erhard Milch (responsible for aircraft construction in the Reichsluftfahrtministerium).

IL2 Sturmovik - Pe-2 Peshka

Few planes will have such strange stories of conception as the Pe-2! Designed by its developer , Vladimir Mikhailovich Petlyakov, in a "Sharashkas" or technical prison lead by the much feared NKVD under the designator VI-100 it's originally envisioned task was as a high altitude escort fighter to the ANT-42 bomber. Powered by two Klimov M-105R's the sturdy modern looking plane suffered from some engine and landing gear problems in the beginning but these were ironed out during the flight testing. One lasting bad tendency of the series sprung up

Now we are getting two add-ons at once – Sturmoviks over Manchuria and “1946”, bringing us a wealth of new aircraft, campaigns, maps and ground objects.

Cloud9 Phantom

Being a retired Phantom pilot I couldnt pass on the opportunity to do a review of the F-4 Phantom II add on aircraft they have produced for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004.

First off, I am afraid I must say that my opinion is not very high of this particular product. I would have to rate it on a scale of one to ten with ten being the best, a 6.

Again I have had the GREAT pleasure of flying the RAZBAM aircraft for FS9 and am happy to have had the opportunity to evaluate it once again!!!

I am rolling the T-2 Buckeye and A-4 Skyhawk together into one review for several reasons. Primarily due to the fact that they each share the exact same good points as well as not so good ones!! There ARE a few differences but not many!!

Australian Simulations Glasair III

When people think of kit planes often they think of the flying party-tent kind of contraption. Boats with delta wings duct-taped to them, Flying bathtubs and that sort of thing. The Glasair III couldn't be further from those machines. It out performs most machines from manufactorers like Cessna, Piper or Cirrus with a large margin! With an initial climb rate of 3000 Feet per minute and a top speed of 260 knots it is on par with some warbirds. It's control responses are smooth and crisp and coupled with its high power it allows for some fantasti

When the first YC-130A Prototype took to the skies in August of 1954 few would have imagined that the design would still be being built and flown operationally 52 years later with many airforces throughout the world and has seen mission roles ranging from raining destruction on North Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan as a gunship to bringing needed food aid to many starving peoples in developing nations under the UN's flag. Together with planes like the DC-3 the hercules is a plane that uniquely continues to fill a niche more then half a century af
